Superb Beachfront Accommodation

Just a stone's throw from the surf this WOW Beach Front holiday development is without a doubt a touch of class and well worth the extra cost, so why not indulge yourself.

At Southover Beach we have 8 units available for self catering including a 2- person open plan penthouse, a spiral staircase duplex, 2/4 & 4/6 person en-suite units and our family garden apartment, which can sleep 6 to 8. Most with French windows to a balcony or patio overlooking the beach. In addition to this we have a 4 Bedroom garden duplex apartment located in Springfield Road.

There is digitally controlled central heating throughout our apartments as we are open all year. There is private parking and a security intercom to the apartments.

Apartment 1

Apartment 1 is located on the ground floor to the side of the building and has its own entrance.  The location is perfect for surfing, visitors from all over come to seek the superb conditions just 150m from the beach, so will suit family holidays or just to relax and soak up the views or walks.

Apartment 2

Apartment 2 is located on the ground floor this apartment has its own very large front patio with amazing views overlooking Woolacombe Beach.

Apartment 3

Apartment 3 is located on the ground floor, this apartment has its own very large front patio with stunning views overlooking Woolacombe Beach and Baggy Point. 

 

 

Apartment 4

Apartment 4 sleeps 4/8, first floor with garden access and views of the beach from the living/dining area & main bedroom. Master bedroom en-suite with king-size bed & access to its own private patio with sea view. Second family room with Kingsize bed & adult size bunk beds.

Apartment 5

Apartment 5 sleeps 4/6 located on the first floor with sea views. This apartment has its own large front balcony with panoramic views overlooking Woolacombe Beach, which is one of the best beaches in North Devon and the West Country.

Apartment 6 - The Honeymoon Penthouse

Apartment 6 sleeps 2, (a Z bed can accommodate a child, if required). 1st floor front duplex with spiral staircase - there is a very large balcony with its own gas BBQ (Easter to end Oct) off the lounge giving panoramic views over Woolacombe Bay.

Apartment 7 - Luxury Garden Penthouse

Apartment 7 - 2nd floor open plan self catering Garden Penthouse Studio - with its own very large furnished balcony off the lounge area giving lovely views over 520 sq mtres of terraced gardens.

Apartment 8 - Sea Facing Penthouse

Apartment 8 - is on the 2nd floor front of the building. There is a double bedroom with king-size bed and a full size double sofa bed in the lounge which closes off to make a 2nd bedroom.

4 Bedroom Garden Duplex

Just 500 metres walk to the beach, located in Springfield Road, Apartment two our Garden 8/10 person unit is the largest 4 bedroom self-catering holiday accommodation we have available in Woolacombe.  Suitable for a large family or two families sharing.

Surrounded by National Trust land. If you enjoy walking, there is an abundance of lovely walks locally through the North Devon countryside, just a few steps from your apartment door. Not only that, but Woolacombe is the perfect base for exploring the beauty of the South West with Mortehoe, Ilfracombe,Barnstaple,Lynton,Croyde,Clovelly and Exmoor all within easy driving distance. Many other tourist attractions are within easy driving distance.

Our preferred surf partner is Woolacombe Surf Centre, they are based in the town and can provide everything you need for your fun in the water while away on holiday.

They specialise in surf lessons and are accredited as a 'Centre of Excellence' by Surfing England.

Easy Access

Although a lot of the accommodation in Woolacombe is unsuitable for anyone with limited mobility, here at Southover Beach we have two ground floor apartments accessed by a gentle slope from the parking area. 

Although the apartments are not fully kitted out for disabled use, they are on one level with one step down from the apartment to the patios with panoramic views over the bay.

About Us

Living in Bristol and after holidaying in Cornwall for many years and traveling the extra 3 hours or so, we only got to hear about the place from friends who had moved to Woolacombe and were always raving about how wonderful Woolacombe was and it being practically on our doorstep!

So we decided to pay Woolacombe a visit in early 2000 when we started to discover all the wonders that North Devon had to offer!

We were fortunate to find our first property in late 2001 and then after 4 years building our rentals we were able to acquire a fantastic old seafront property in 2005 that was ready for re-development and after a year of hard work we were able to open for business 2006 – Southover Beach! 

Sotogrande - Apartment in Spain

Sotogrande in Spain is located in the province of Cadiz.  Easily accessed by rental car from either Gibraltar Airport, 20 minutes or Malaga Airport 60 minutes. The marina area is a 15 minute walk from the apartment with plenty of bars and restaurants.  Nearby is the town of Pueblo Nuevo in one direction and Torreguadiaro the other direction.  There are also a good selection of supermarkets close by.
